There are multiple payday cash advance places around here (pacific NW) that are completely trustworthy. So if they approve you, that’s it. You have the money.
Keep in mind that these cash advance loans have an EXTREMELY high interest rate so because of that, it’s best to avoid them. So fraud, no. But usury, yes.

Not a fraud, Star, a TRAP. Don’t do it. The interest rates are astronomical. They play little games to encourage you not to pay the balance in one shot so that they can continue to charge you $15 for every $50 that you borrow. So if you’ve borrowed 200. you pay $60 interest in the first month(!) and so on and so forth. Anything to make the poor poorer!
Don’t do it. Just bite the bullet, because although there are ways to get away with not paying them back, it will be reflected on your credit report. And, in case you haven’t noticed, credit these days impacts every area of your life. Try getting a job without it. Because employers are not satisfied to know that you are a qualified and reliable worker, they need to know all of your other business as well. So if your credit is still intact, do WHATEVER you have to do to keep it that way. Your future depends on it.

You would be paying back $300 plus the almost 400% interest. Also, most want their money back in cash in 14 days. That is why it is easy to get caught up in the revolving door of just paying the fee or interest payment and taking out the loan again. Once you are sucked in, it is hard to get out.

Depending in what area you live in- some are regulated and are like any business- they want to make a profit. Some charge an applicaton fee- along with a high interest rate. Some want proof of income and job history , while depending on the amount, they take a percentage of your check- Some don’t even take a credit application depending on the amount of dollars that you want- 300 is nothing. Good luck- check out http://www.loansfinancingcredit.com and http://www.banklady.com/.
