I am getting a PIN number sent to me but if anyone could tell me if I could use it inside a bank to get a cash advance please let me know. It is a credit card, not a Visa debit card.
I Have A Visa Credit Card And I Was Wondering If I Could Use It At A Bank To Get A Cash Advance.?

Yes you can but it’s not a good idea. The interest rate for cash advances is usually VERY high.
Yes you can use your credit card to get a cash advance. However, you do not get any interest-free period if you draw cash on a credit card and will begin paying interest immediately.
Look on the back of the card and you’ll see a logo or logos (Like Cirrus). This is true of your ATM card too. These logo’s tell you which ATM’s your card will be valid at. Then match them up with the logo’s on the banks ATM machines. There is usually a sign that says “this ATM machine accepts these types of cards.”
Be careful about cash advances! Look at your most recent statement at the bottom of the first page. This is where you will see a breakout of the interest rates charged. There is an interest rate for “normal charges” and one for “cash advances.” Often the cash advance one is higher.
Also, be careful to pay off the card each month if you can. When you make a partial payment they will apply it to the outstanding “charges” first and the “cash advances” second. And since this interest rate is often higher it means that while you’re paying down the charges interest keeps accumulating on the cash advances!
Good luck to you!
Usually you use it at an ATM other than a bank ATM, such as one found in a grocery store or convenience store. Keep in mind that they are high-interest loans.
I tried to use mine at a bank ATM and the teller looked at me like I was stupid, since it wasn’t a debit card… You can do it at any other ATMs, though.
If the funds on the card are not drawn from a bank, then the answer is no. If you have the PIN number for the card then you could use it at an ATM for a cash advance, of course the interest is usually higher based on the terms and conditions of the company who provided the credit card to you.
sure $$$$$…
Very Very Very Very bad idea.
